Creating Your Character
Before you can dive into the rich world of Aeternum with your friends, each player must create their character. When creating a character, consider the following tips to ensure you’re set up for a cooperative experience:

Choose the Same Server: The first step is to ensure that all players are on the same server. New World features a variety of servers, and you won’t be able to play with friends if you’re not on the same one. You can check the server list and select a server that suits your group’s needs, whether it’s for PvP or PvE gameplay.

Select Compatible Factions: Upon reaching level 10, players must choose a faction: the Marauders, the Syndicate, or the Covenant. These factions not only influence your gameplay experience but also determine the types of allies and enemies you’ll encounter. Coordinate with your friends to choose the same faction to enjoy benefits like faction missions and territory control.

Coordinating Your Builds: While New World allows for flexible character development, it’s beneficial to discuss your roles and builds with your friends.
