Should I Pay for a Professional CV Writing Service?

I’ve been sending out my CV for different jobs, but I’m not getting any calls for interviews. ???? I’m starting to wonder if my CV is the problem. I’ve tried updating it myself, but I’m not sure if I’m doing it right. A friend of mine suggested using a professional CV writing service, but I’m not sure if it’s worth paying for. They say that makes all the difference since the experts would have an idea of what recruiters look out for. Has anybody here tried it before? Did that help increase the chances for more interviews?
